Prometeia, a leading provider of software solutions and consulting services for Risk Management, Financial Analysis, and Planning for financial institutions, is looking for ALM & Treasury Risk Consultants / Senior Consultants to support its continuous growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will join a specialized team based in İstanbul, operating within the financial risk or/and credit risk subjects. The consultant will support the project managers in the management of the activities relating to the following areas:
- Asset & Liability Management
- Liquidity Risk Management
- Market Risk Analysis
- Credit Risk Management
- System implementation
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A degree or master's degree with excellent marks in Economics/Finance, Statistics coupled with sound technical and quantitative knowledge is required.
As well as background knowledge of the banking sector with respect to:
- Conventional and synthetic banking products and derivative products and mechanism of working
- Valuation and related accounting practices, reconciliation logic, financial statement knowledge
REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong analytical, planning, creative problems solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Degree with an excellent final score in economics, finance, statistical or engineering subjects
- Strong interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external parties in a professional manner
- Experience in Enterprise Risk Management implementation steps such as familiarity of data model creation, system implementation, UAT test cases preparations, production migration or upgrade steps, etc.
- SQL, visual basic, C#, or equivalent coding abilities are highly preferable
- Excellent usage skills of Microsoft Office tools, especially with the usage of visual basic functionality
