We are looking for an Crane Supervisor (Reliability) to join our team in Yarimca, Türkiye . In this role, you will provide efficient maintenance and repair service for cranes and related equipment, and continuously develop the team, thereby adding support to the smooth functioning of port operations.
Your Responsibilities:
Supervise and assist QC & RTG Technicians in carrying out maintenance and repairs, fault finding and monitoring of crane equipment for smooth functioning of port operations Prepare daily duty schedule of QC & RTG Technicians for maintenance requirements and provide maintenance and repair service to cranes, mechanical plant and associated equipment in an efficient timely and cost-effective manner Ensure maximum operational availability of cranes by diagnosing and specifying repair methods and liaise with related technical personnel, dispatchers, planners, and supervisors for maintenance purposes Engineered Maintenance Strategy: Responsible for changes to the Equipment Maintenance Plan based on analysis of asset failure data. Alerts Stores to changes in stocking levels to match changes in task frequency MRO Adjustments: Responsible for analysis of spares usage and failure data to determine proper stocking levels based on failure data, usage and simulation modelling of the Engineered Maintenance Strategy Develop and manage the PdM/NDT function for the early identification and elimination of asset defects Lead the Root Cause Failure Analysis effort for sporadic equipment failures (typically uses Logic Tree incident analysis); develop specific operational procedure changes to help mitigate future failures; catalogue and database the RCA/RCFA results and subsequent action items Analyze plant wide failure data and downtime scenarios to calculate relevant trigger points for RCFA Facilitates de RCA/RCFA analysis process Provides technical assistance to maintenance supervisors, planners, and crafts personnel in the form of specific, technical data on system configuration and performance Develop the maintenance strategy for spare parts inventory, testing strategy for incoming new and rebuilt spares Conduct inspections required on equipment using PdM technology and assess the severity of the defects identified according to PdM guidelines Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of workshop facilities and all equipment thereby creating a safe and healthy work environment and validate all records in shift report and Maximo in terms of equipment, issue, and budget Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or professional training would be an advantage Minimum 5 years of related field experience in reliability area and mechanical maintenance Minimum 5 years of experience as a supervisor Good knowledge of technical terminology, reading technical drawings and able to understand electrical and mechanical projects Hands-on experience with electric, mechanical and hydraulic schematics Profound experience in FMEA, RAM, root causes analysis Good knowledge of CBM, lean methodologies, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, continuous improvement etc. Experience with ultrasound inspection, vibration analysis, infrared measurement, motor testing, laser alignment, dye penetrant and other CBM technologies and methodologies Fluent English and Turkish language skills Able to swim and does not have any fear of the sea & B type driver’s license holder Compensation
