The Financial Controller oversees the day-to-day activities of the financial controlling and reporting, accounting, tax, treasury, risk, and purchases to pay teams and ensures the companies finance function is organized and efficient and produces accurate financial and management ledgers.
Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, monthly analysis, and preparation of the financial statements of the business, including schedules for tax compliance and local profitability. Responsible of company’s financial closing and lead TB variances (Income Statement and Balance Sheet) meetings with all function towers; P2P, O2C, Inventory, FA, GA, Treasury at Shared Service Centre at month ends. Assure financial activities and results are in compliance with USGAAP, TFRS, SOX policies/procedures and local tax and regulatory requirements. Establish and maintain internal controls as Country SOX Coordinator to support the financial infrastructure, present financial reporting, KPI and potential risk areas to senior management and liaise with external advisors for ongoing and new projects. Supports finance organizational strategies and business plan by contributing with financial, accounting, and relevant external environment information. Providing analysis, and recommendations to CFO and affiliate Lead Team when required or proactively if deemed appropriate to ensure the affiliate effective operations and sustainability. Act as primary local affiliate liaison with corporate teams such as Global Treasury, Global Tax, Global FCO. Act in accordance with respecting privacy and other relating procedures. Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Adm., Economics, Finance, Accounting 8+ years finance, accounting, and management experience in multinational company environment Analyzing and Making Decision Building Partnerships Active listening and good communication Coaching Proactivity and Strategic Thinking Proficiency in written and spoken English Advanced level spreadsheet skills and MS Office literacy Strong technical knowledge in accounting, US GAAP, IFRS, Local GAAP and taxation.
