We are looking for the HSSE Executive to join our team in Yarimca, Türkiye .

Your Responsibilities:

Working in harmony with the Health, Safety, Security and Environment team and ensuring accountability for all HSSE issues and policy matters, as well as compliance with policies and standards

Provide guidance, assistance and advice to management team and all departments through interpretation and promulgation of Company HSE practices and procedures in relation to client requirements and current legislation and regulations

Promote HSSE awareness within the company, stakeholders and contractors and communicate with Government agencies about HSE issues

Develop, implement and oversee HSE programs in the terminal

Coordinating with all departments to implement HSE policies/procedures and ensuring these are communicated and understood to all employees

Develop, review and update risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis and Method Statements for activities

Establish and conduct an HSE audit and inspection program

Evaluate contractors on their HSE performance. To make improvement suggestions to the Contractor and Company Team Leaders when necessary

Update and maintain emergency response plans and procedures

Leading, organizing and participating in occupational safety meetings (Occupational Health and Safety Committee meeting, toolbox meeting, contractor safety meeting,

Lead incident investigations into HSE incidents, implement corrective actions and ensuring measures are taken to prevent recurrence

Ensure and maintain the implementations of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system requirements

Prepare a monthly HSE report for senior management by monitoring HSE statistics and KPIs

Manage, direct and coach the HSE team

Actively participate and lead HSE promotional events, campaigns, competitions and resident programs

Your Profile:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in a specific HSE role (HSE engineer)

Degree in Engineering

Fluent in both Turkish and English

Having minimum B Class Safety Specialist Certificate

Recognized qualification in HSE management (such as NEBOSH IGC) will be asset

Proficient in common PC software such as Microsoft Office programs

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring quality.

Proven ability with leadership skills

Effective presentation skills

Effective organizational and research skills
