Job Description
For the Group synergy, we now represent METRO Sourcing International Limited Istanbul, Turkey office to look for a Junior Merchandiser / Merchandiser Assistant (Gastro Electrical Appliance, Bathroom & Home Care, Household) to be a part of their Non-food Sourcing team. Our Junior Merchandiser is responsible for everyday end to end merchandising activities and support in the global sourcing and chain supply projects.
Responsible for order follow-up, buying trips preparation, sample handling and showroom management Engage in merchandising process such as sourcing, product development, article & offer management and supplier management Work directly with overseas suppliers and customers to ensure smooth operations Coordinate with internal departments Packaging, Quality Assurance, Logistics and other external service providers to ensure on-time shipment Maintain accurate and updated order status and product information in supply chain system
Qualifications
Degree holder in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Business or relevant field At least 2 years’ relevant merchandising experience, EU market experience is preferred (Candidate with less experience will be considered as Merchandiser Assistant) Proficient in both spoken and written English Proficient in MS Office applications Experience and knowledge in merchandising / trading industry Good negotiation skills and problem-solving skills Open minded, right attitude to learn and bring about change Energetic to drive for customer success and excellent service Strong sense of ownership and high degree of independence Passionate in connecting with people and adopting high level of interpersonal skills Willing to travel when needed
