What you’ll do
• Lead domain-visioning road maps, ensuring alignment with the strategic direction of the enterprise and domain.
• Identify strategic and tactical solutions and be able to influence and negotiate with colleagues and business partners.
• Focus on the long-term architecture and strategy for the Customer Management Domain.
• Oversee the architecture for development of cross-functional, multi-platform systems.
• Have an “EA perspective” and collaborate regularly with other Enterprise Architects to ensure solutions align with enterprise direction.
• Ensure high-value architecture and design artefacts for all solutions in domain areas.
• Works with business stakeholders to understand their business strategy and develop IT strategies and architecture for significant areas of their business.
• Leads large and complex initiatives and solutions (involving multiple departments, new/leading edge technology, integrating several technology types, high visibility and/or risk, resulting in significant organizational change)
• Leads and manage Customer Management domain product/solution/application portfolio’ lifecycle, determine future opportunities for innovations/change/improvements and create communication channels in order to track user experience proactively. Major functional areas within Customer Management domain: Customer Relationship Management, Order Management, Product Catalogue, Inventory Management, Lead Management, Loyalty Management, Service Request and Complaint Management, Value Added Services, Messaging Platforms, Partner Management, Promotion Management, Sales Force Management.
Works with agile squads in the Customer Management domain to ensure that they develops and delivers proper solutions align with the domain architecture strategy and principles.
• Lead and/or contribute SDLC activities (design, development, test, deployment) with in the delivery teams especially for the strategic key initiatives.
• Together with Operation and Infrastructure teams, studies dimensioning for the systems in the domain based on the traffic forecast provided by the business unit
• Technical vendor management based on the contract that is signed between Vodafone and the vendor.
• Executes RFQ and/or RFP process if required for relevant projects.
• Reviews and approves vendor design documents; follow-ups vendor development.
Who you are
7+ years of software analysis/design/development/engineering experience.
• Broad skills and experience; exposure to multiple technologies and business areas.
• Strong leadership and facilitation skills in advising and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• Broad knowledge of software technology and development processes, particularly Scrum, Kanban, Test Driven Development, disciplined agile delivery and lean development
• Must possess a complete understanding of all aspects of test automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment concept
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and micro service architecture
• Know-how and experience on software architecture, design and development technologies such as;
o Algorithms, object oriented programming
o SIEBEL IP 2015
o Multithreading, concurrency,
o Java, XML, SOAP, JSP, J2EE, REST, Web Services
o Redhat Openshift Container Platform, Docker Registry, Jenkins, Nexus
o Unix, Shell Scripting,
o Weblogic App Server, Kafka, Mongo
o Relational Database : Oracle, PostgreSQL
o No SQL Database : Mongo
o Database Programming : SQL, PL-SQL
o Containerization & Orchestration ( Docker, Kubernetes )
o JUnit or any unit testing tool
